I am so glad I found Artistik Edge! I recently moved to Dallas and was dreading finding a new stylist that I could trust. I read all the great reviews and decided to make an appointment with Lacy. She was wonderful! She made sure that she understood exactly what I wanted and didn’t force any of her ideas on me. She was very friendly, and after about 5-10 minutes into the consultation, I trusted her. She was very precise with the color and cut and she offered lots of options for what we could do with my style. I loved that she asked what tools I used to fix my hair and then gave me a cut that would look great with those tools. She was very friendly and relaxed. Ask for Lacy if you want attention to detail and precision. Thank you Artistik Edge!P.S. If you live anywhere remotely close to Dallas, make the drive to go see Jessica! She truely is awesome! I’ve followed her from her Addison location to her new super-convienient location in Dallas at Preson & Forrest. Jessica has cut & colored my hair, and I’ve never been happier! Most recently she did the BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT, and it made my hair look absolutely fabulous! The process doesn’t take too long, and it makes your hair silky-shiney and healthy (without the use of harsh chemicals!). Cuts your styling time in half, if not more!!!! My curly “nappy” textured hair is now board straight and soft w/o the use of a flat iron, need I say more?! As always, I’m thrilled with the work that Jessica has done. She is a real pro, and is always on the cutting edge of what’s new! Thanks so much Jessica!! Pros + good location, great prices, PERFECT results!Cons – none!!!
My mother owns her own salon in Lake Whitney, so the drive down there isn’t realistic for a haircut. I have been getting my hair cut in DFW at every type of salon,stylist, barber shop, etc… that you could even imagine for the past 12 years. All of this time, I havent been able to find one particular stylist that I ever went back to. It seemed that no one would listen to what I wanted, but instead would cut my hair the way they wanted, or knew how to cut men’s hair. NOT THE CASE HERE!! Kaivan and Robin were not only very willing to share their opinions about my (at the time I had cut my own hair do to me not being satisfied with other people doing it) hair, and how a different shape could bring out other features in my face if it were taken out a little here, and thinned here, etc… Not sure if you have ever had someone be truthful with you, but at the time, I had not, but it was exactly what I was looking for, and needed. I appreciated their honesty so much, I decided to go try
Amy Kott Hovland has the best staff of stylist who are well trained in the latest hair styles and color applications. The scalp massage given during a shampoo is so relaxing it is hard to stay awake. Also, the shampoo area has reduced lighting and soft soothing music to relax you and make the experience wonderful. Everyone is professional, friendly and courteous. They also have the top of the line products so I can maintain my hair in the same condition that I left the salon in.Thanks to the Von Anthony Salon I look beautiful and feel very confident about my appearance.Pros + BEST HAIR STYLISTS IN TOWNCons – None that I’ve noticed
After seeing SCOTT I felt like I had my own hair stylist to the stars just for me. This was the most personalized service I have ever had! SCOTT is more concerned with how I look than any agenda or product line. When you leave SCOTT’s you know without a shadow of a doubt that he has devoted every second to ensure a (10) car pile up as soon as you walk out the door. SCOTT is the only PROFESSIONAL that I would be willing to close my eyes and let him do what he thought best!!! Only because I am overly confident that he has the forsight & skill of a HAIR GENIUS. Think I am just pouring compliments on a friend or family member? Then go see SCOTT and see if you are not the next review on here thanking me for letting you know.
