Where are the Best Hair Extensions in Portland, Oregon?
I had been looking for someone to trust with my hair and i read so many good reviews on Jena I decided to giver her a try. It was very convenient since she starts at 6am so I can get my hair done before I need to go into work. I went in the first time not knowing what I wanted and some how it turned out better than what I could have dreamed of. I recently went back to get highlights in to give my hair texture for an up-do for a wedding I was in, She listened to what I needed I gave me highlights that look natural, hide when I have my hair down, and makes my hair look amazing when its up. I couldn’t ask for anything more. I have never done anything dramatic to my hair but in her hands I feel like anything she does will make me look amazing in the end. My next appointment is for a Keratin treatment to straighten out my frizzy hair. She gave me a lot of information on it, and gave me good advice whether I should do it or not because of my hair type. She knows her stuff! I wouldn’t place

This man has a lot of talent – he knows what he is talking about and doing. Believe me – he knows color and how to work with all types of hair. I’ve been to my share of salon’s where I’m treated like a $… Stacking up clients while my color is processing, interrupting a cut to trim someone’s bangs, or yacking on the phone while styling my hair. No concern about my time or me or their work. You won’t find this at Dezi, you won’t find this while in Josh’s care. In addition to Josh’s talent and care as a hair stylist – they have the best operation’s manager you’ll ever meet. I have had hair extensions in the past from another place here in town. When I went searching for a better system, I found Teri. She used Great Lengths hair, wich is the most beautiful, amazing hair I have ever felt. I had bald spots on my head from the old set being so big heavy and hard on my natural hair. I was unsure if she could even help me. She assured me that she could so I took the chance. I will have to say the final result was incredible. I can’t even tell Im wearing extensions, and neither can anyone who knows me. The best part is that I don’t have “maintenance” on these like I did with the last system. Don’t be fooled by a lower price! They actually cost me MORE than the great lengths system, looked horrible, ruined my hair, shed and required maintenence. With the Teri’s system, she put them in and took them out after 6 months without any damage. I actually have new hair growing back and Im on my way to my hair being healthy again. I’ve had my hair cut at salons before but they always asked what I wanted done, I always said to just do it the way it is but shorter. This time I decided I would ask for recommendations. I did my due diligence and decided to go to Defining Image. I asked Ellery what he thought and he gave me his recommendations as far as the cut. I then asked him about coloring the grey. I’ve never done this before and was hesitant. He put me at ease.Watching Ellery cut my hair, I could tell immediately I was in the hands of a master. Not just the wham bam kind of cuts I usually get. He’s also a woodworking (as am I) and I suspect that accounts for his meticulous nature. The haircut is the best I’ve ever gotten! I went to Belle Epoque in search of a new salon because I wasn’t very happy with my current stylist. Marisa took me as a walk-in client and was very welcoming. Marisa did a very in-depth consultation with me before she even touched my hair so she knew exactly what I wanted done with it. I was tired of having the yellow/brass type blonde and that always seemed to be what I got from other places. This blonde turned out to be a golden more natural blonde (similar to the highlights you’d get after being in the sun). I’m so happy to have found a new stylist in Marisa. I highly recommend her! She listens closely to what you want while also giving input on what she things, is very cool, funny and makes you feel relaxed and at ease when you’re in her chair. Definitely give her a shot – you won’t be disappointed. Pros + Very cute salon, beautiful hair color, friendly stylists, great location, clean place, good pricing!Cons – None!
