The beer selection is great, the ambience is great, the food is great. It’s also strangely possible to find a single table opening up as you arrive (or maybe that’s just me). I wouldn’t say the poor service is “legendary,” but on weekends, service can be a little slow. Go there sometime when it’s raining out. Get the pickles.

Honey Hole does not mess around. They do it and they do it well. Sandwiches! From the meatiest to the most vegan, you will keep coming back. (What do they really put in them?) The atmosphere is great. The dangling decor will leave you plenty to peruse. The music is usually a favorite on your iPod and the staff is no nonsense but always super nice. Check out the daily drink special that is clearly spelled out in neon on the board by the bar that features an awesome cocktail at a fantastic price. Get a craving during the day? Don’t fret, my pet. They are open for lunch!Pros + vegetarian/vegan options, neighborhood barCons – There is always a chance of having to wait.

I was a bit hesitant after reading the mixed reviews but my friend lives within walking distance of the restaurant and we wanted to try the 3 for 30 menu. I was not disappointed. I had the cassoulet and she had the boeuf bourgignon and both were outstanding. It is the kind of food you fantasize about making at home, if you had the right ingredients and three days to prep and cook. The beans in the cassoulet were perfectly cooked and the sausage and duck leg added depth. The beef was falling apart tender and the sauce was to die for. The fromage and chocolat chaud & froid were just the right flavors to end the meal. Service was a bit slow – we were there about 2 1/2 hours, which is fine for a special occassion, but that would be a negative on a normal weeknight when you want to duck in somewhere for a bit to eat and out in an hour or so. They could have used another server and we were charged for drinks we did not order (graciously adjusted), which kept this from being a five st

The headline of this review says it all– The Frontier Room is a great place for people who are actually dancers and just want a place to get funky and know that you’ll get a little sweat in the process. It’s not good for those pretty boys and girls that just want to sit or stand with their drink and be eye candy.Like just about every establishment in Belltown, this BBQ place turns into a nightclub after 8 pm. Ladies get in free, which is a wonderful deal. The DJs are very consistent in always playing a good mix of 80s, 90s and Top40. It does get very packed on the dance floor by midnight, but on the brightside you can actually go to just get your groove on without getting molested by creeper guys at this place. People will leave you alone to party, which is a nice difference from some of the bigger clubs in which you have 3 nasty, sweaty guys surrounding you as soon as you walk in the door. The drinks are very good too and I thought all of the staff members, including bartenders, tha

We had dinner at The Game Restaurant last night. For adults they have one of the best microbrew selections in Kirkland. Big hamburgers too. Kids can come in but are kept seperate from the bar. Nice kids menu too. So for beers, cocktails, and burgers, this is one of the better restaurants in Kirkland.Pros + Beer and cocktails
