Where are the Best French Fries in Seattle, Washington?

I started with an Alsace Pinot Gris (by the glass) and it was lovely; it was dry with a hint of sweet that went perfectly with our meal. We decided to try as much as possible without stuffing ourselves so we split everything. We started with Escargots de Bourgogne, wild Burgundy snails roasted with parsley, garlic and shallot butter. I must admit, the mental picture of Burgundy snails running wild gave me a giggle. When the escargot arrived, it was a gorgeous lush green from the parsley and the flavor was sublime…we ordered additional bread to ensure that all the sauce was sopped up and enjoyed. Next was the Soupe du jour, a lovely carrot ginger puree that made my taste buds dance. After the soup came the Salade verte with Roquefort. I must say, there is something to be cherished about a salad simply dressed with the finest ingredients. Truly, it was green (mostly green, some purple) lettuce leaves dressed with a simple vinaigrette and topped with crumbles of Roquefort…

Presse this food right into my pie hole! I like Le Pichet so I’m not surprised I dig CafA Presse. This place is paradisaical for drinks (tons of obscure liquors and liqueurs) and they get bonus points…

I went here for a romantic dinner last weekend and was pleasantly surprised from the beginning. We were promptly seated under the lit tree. The restaurant has a very warm cozy feel, alot of charm. I had the beet salad which was good, but I may have had overly high expectations from the prior reviews. My boyfriend had the tuna carpaccio which was flavorful but the olives completely overpowered the tuna. I HIGHLY recommend the Muscovy Duck and steak frites… they really know how to do the classics. My duck was so tender and had a wonderful sauce, the steak was very juicy. We had the profiterols which was average actually… i probably wouldnt order it again. Service was nice. Dinner for 2 was $92 before tip. 2 apps, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 2 drinks. Very reasonable prices. Overall, i would definitely come back, great restaurant! Pros + Great food, nice ambiance,Cons – none

The tap selection is only slightly above average, but the bottle list is focused almost entirely on Belgian specialty brews. I chose the Reinaert Flemish Wild Ale (bottle), and My roommate went with the Deschutes 19th Anniversary Golden Ale (on tap). Little on the food menu grabbed me initially, and the recommendation of pizza from the server was not what I was hoping for, but I was impressed when my Caesar salad with grilled portabella arrived. the portabella was sliced thick, and was placed atop the salad in the same manner as a chicken breast. The mushroom was a perfect compliment to the excellent caesar it crowned – crisp, fresh romaine, what appeared to be house-made croutons, and a classic caesar dressing all played their respective roles perfectly. My roommate ordered a vegetarian pizza (don’t recall the ingredients) and really enjoyed it, particularly noting that the crust was excellent. The decor was a bit saccharine – high-end Ikea-chic in the restaurant area, with a bar desi

I personally love their burgers (& I love that you can’t use their name in the review because it’s inappropriate) and shakes, and the employees there are especially nice, considering they make >$10/hour. However, I am a crispy fry sort of person, and their fries are too soggy and greasy for me. There are people who like this better, but not I. I would recommend getting 2 burgers and skip the fries, but that’s just me…Pros + Fast & CheapCons – When it rains, you’ll get wet 🙁
