They have the best car shows every weekend from spring until fall. Their food is even car oriented and delicious. The shakes come in MANY flavors and the rootbeer floats are ….Too bad they don’t serve beer.

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! GOOD GOOD GOOD! The burgers taste like they’re homemade! They’re firm and griddled well, not like the pasty commercial patties you get at drive thru’s. Fries are soft, but tasty, and don’t think about sharing – you’ll regret it! Seating is always available – in your car! Otherwise, it’s standing room only in the great concrete outdoors.Pros + cheap. yummy. ’nuff said.Cons – didn’t see any law breakers…

It’s all subjective. My perspective is I am a 33yr old grad student at UW, single, white, hetro, male from the NE, moved to NW 2 yrs ago. Shultzy’s is conveniently located and has good Euro style beer (micro brew), not a brewery. They have large boots of beer for social group drinking. Atmosphere is calm/warm with wood paneling and a fire place in front and picnic area in back for the summer. The owners put in effort into maintaining it well (not always the case on “the Ave”). The food menu is diverse leaning towards German/American style, but is slightly expensive for the area. ($18-$22 for lunch and a beer, including tip; dinner is a little more) Come sit at a table with a bunch of friends and it’s a great place to be. Pros + Beer, atmosphere, location.Cons – Price, food

I saw this on the food network and knew that i had to try it. They have a nice menu, with lots of good burger choices. I got the one with roasted peppers on it, which were really very delicious. I opted not to go for the house made smokey mayonaise, which may be one of the reasons I thought it was lacking in flavor so its kind of my own fault. My boyfriend really enjoyed his bleu cheese burger. I felt that they used a high quality of food here, nice buns, fresh veggies etc. Some people complained about the parking but come on dude, its Seattle. Parking sucks everywhere. I had no problem parking anyways. I say eat here! Its tasty and cute!Pros + Fresh quality foodCons – Not as flavorful as hoped
