Where are the Best French Fries in Providence, Rhode Island?
Very good food and great atmosphere. If you are really hungry, try the Sheppard’s pie, it is very rich and tasty. My boyfriend always seems to grab a burger of which they have an extensive selection. There are several places you can eat in here as well. If you just want to sit down and eat, you can eat in their main dinning room and the little bar above it. There is also the tavern downstairs that has a more bar feel with music pumped in but with a few booths that you can eat at. Then there is the Celtic pub upstairs, that is my favorite. They have some booths to eat at, and live music three nights a week. I really like this restaurant because there is something for every one. Between me, my boyfriend and my almost 60 year old father we all have a blast in here!
If you have a craving for a real good roast beef sandwich. I mean real good. Then Millers Roast Beef in East Providence is for you. Nice lean and jucy roast beef. Pilled high on a Mrs Kavanaughs seeded roll makes Millers absoloutly delicious. People say thats their is nothing like Walts for roast beef sandwiches. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. So, if your looking for really good roast beef sandwich in Rhode Island and you might have moved here from Boston and your getting a jones for some Kelly’s. STAY CLEAR OF WALTS AND HEAD TO MILLERS !!!!! You wont be disapointed.Pros + Excelent Food, Good PortionsCons – Limited Parking
Food; had the fish & chips and a bowl of baked onion soup. Food was ok, baked onion soup was a little salty and we got a pretty big piece of fish but it had a layer of batter that was a little under cooked. I just picked off the batter and ate the fish. Pickles were good. Ambiance; wife and I sat on the pub end because they were busy, normally it is that way. Plenty of room to spread out. Area was lit a little dimly, had the smell of the deodorizer from the restrooms to deal with. Service; waitress did an awesome job, she was right on top of everything. Value; we paid $35 for 2 orders of fish & chips, baked onion soup, soda and 1 beer plus tip. Wife and I have been going here for over 10 years. Food has always been good here this time around was a little below par for them but I will be going back. They make the best comfort food and desserts. Recommend it.
