The food and service is OK, but this place is best visited in the summer, when the patio’s open. Meet for drinks and maybe some snacks, then move on. I do like the saloon atmosphere, but food and service needs to improve.Pros + great patio

I am not sure why there is such a rush of bad reviews recently about this place but I am glad I didn’t let them sway me from going there. We met with some friends last night and I dont really have any complaints. The food is organic & sustainable #1 – there is going to be a higher cost for just the ingredients off the start. #2 – this is not your typical american “feed lot” restaurant. Food is ment to be enjoyed and savored not stuffed down your throat as fast as possible. From the time we were seated to the time we paid our bill around 2 1/2 hours had passed & I honesly never noticed the time. Each stage of the experience was timed well as to ensure that we were able to enjoy what we already had at the table without feeling rushed. We ordered a 3 cheese dish with 2 types of goat cheeses & 1 cow milk cheese – absolutely delicious. For the main course, I went out on a limb & for the first time in my life tried steak tartare. wow. I can’t believe someone would go on one of these things to justify not tipping their waitress because he had to use the atm. That’s the biggest bunch of b.s. i’ve ever heard. They just work there, it’s not their fault that they don’t take cards and if you know that, why not just bring cash? oh yeah, because you’re so spineless you need an excuse not to tip. wow. i bet you get a lot of dates with that kind of class!anyway, though, I do love dots. It will be interesting to see what’s going to happen after the smoking ban. I think it will be a lot more pleasant to be in. I smoke and still get grossed out. I love the vegan platter and gentle ben.Pros + open late, vegetarian/vegan options, can entertain large partiesCons – can be a little big chaotic sometimes

Scoring Big @ McMenamin’s with Tony T-Money and the Crew: This rocking place kept T-Money and the Wrecking Crew kicking it like Tai-Bo all night long. T was kind enuff to leave his credit card and pick up the tab for all the sweet honeys! We thought we lost him in the cleavage of Miss California but he survived, yelled “cut me Mick!” and went in for the TKO! Gino was ready to front the bail money, but T-Money was all good. Fortunately you can buy enough beer to please a posse at McMenamin’s without making a dent in the company pocketbook. Sully found the wings and the beer slide in and out just as easily – and the chicks too! Sweet lady LuLu kept it real while Bookie and his soon to be life-time sweetie Carny chugged some cheap ones. As for Mr. Pimpdiggity – well, if you want to know the rest, buy the rights!Pros + sweet honies that show a lot of cleavageCons – too many dudes
