Where are the Best French Fries in Phoenix, Arizona?
Portland’s is an all-around great dining experience. The dining room is small enough that you receive great personal attention from your server. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and the extensive wine list. Our wine selection couldn’t have been better paired with our meals, and the prices were in line with the quality, unlike some places that like to inflate prices. This is a great place for a date – either in jeans or dressed up. The bar was rocking the night we were there, but the restaurant proved to be quiet enough for conversation. All around a terrific experience. My only complaint is that the fish I ordered was overcooked. Perhaps that’s my own fault for ordering fish in the desert …?
Every week, me and the 20-something crew dine at trendy AZ/88 for suculent sandwiches and body-movin mojitos! This place rocks for the younger crowd as well as the upwardly mobile business class crowd. Enjoy people watching: who’s gay, who’s straight, who’s hip, and so obviously wearing those new Diesel jeans and the latest Dior sunglasses! Great stmosphere but not so great servers! The food and good company makes up for it though!
