Where are the Best French Fries in Oakland, California?
Though it is looking a little worse for wear, Barney’s still delivers burgers, and delivers big. The variety of toppings is excellent, and for those of us with no imagination, Barney’s puts together some winning combos that you’ll think you can reproduce at home, but you just can’t. Why try? Barney’s burgers are consistently great. Portions are generous, milkshakes are thick, they have a kids’ menu with burgers that are scaled back on size, but not on quality. Sure, they could use some fresh paint and a good scrub, but hey, going somewhere on Piedmont Avenue where they are going to serve you a delicious burger, fries and a shake AND call you “hon,” well, I ask you: what does the decor really matter?
