Just when you thought the French Quarter couldn’t get any weirder…. Along comes Flanagan’s Pub — a real cool Irish pub — with an attached Italian restaurant called Gigolo Gianni’s. You can literally shoot pool and knock back a Guiness, while ordering a manicotti or muffaletta and tiramisu for dessert. Ya gotta love it!!!Pros + excellent food, low prices, friendly staffCons – can’t think of any!

After my fourth visit , I realized that not only is everything delicious but it is such a relaxing venue that you don’t want to leave ! The wait staff is attentive and knowledgable. The short wine list is adequate and affordable with a decent Cote de Rhone at $6 a glass . The mussels are heavenly in their sauces, the frites with dipping sauces are available as an appetizer or happily substituted for another side dish with your entree, the salads are carefully made and dressed ( the one with blue cheese and pecans was nice for lunch ), the pork chop was well sauced and served with stoemp ( potatoes mashed with cream, butter and a vegetable of the day — mine was leeks ), the Flemish beer stew was delicious as were the filled crepes, both savory and sweet. A quiet ( soft music in the background) romantic white tablecloth restaurant only a matter of a few blocks from the Stumpf exit on the Expressway. Even at night, you can’t get lost ! A must try for good food lovers.Pros + ambia

F&M’s offers a great atmosphere especially for the late night crowd. It’s packed with college students and new orleans locals. The highlights consist of late night dancing and a photo booth. Also the outside patio provides space when this bar gets too crowded. It’s a good place to intermix with locals. However remember to bring cash. The atm is always out.Pros + atmosphereCons – getting a drink

I can only speak on behalf of their best hamburger the chili cheese burger. Yes it does cost a little more than the regular burger and is a little messy but is absolutely worth it. It is so soft and delicious, I could eat one for every meal of the day.Pros + InexpensiveCons – Not Fast food

The location is great in the old part of the city and the sevice is top notch esp. as Joe is the manager. Met all who work there and esp. the cook Zane, Harry’s has a great up beat atmosphere even for us that are in their 60’s+. It is great to be near these young people. They all just swallowed us up. By the way, Please sample the food,,Excellent !!!
