This establishment like this fits in well in Highland Park Village. The homemade soups are fantastic – a must before the meal. On the menu, try the steak salad murphy – I prefer it med. rare. There’s a reasonable selection of beers and wine to compliment most picks on the menu. Best of all the menu is very reasonalby priced – dinner for 2 will be around $30 including a couple of drinks! Beware: the seating is somewhat tight and the noise level can get loud.Pros + Gourmet, ValueCons – Loud

This place is totally quaint and adorable. My friend and I were actually planning to grab drinks at another establishment but there was a long wait for a table. I am glad we wandered in here. I really…

I’ve enjoyed Annie’s Parlour since the 70s while I was a Gopher. Being in Dinkytown, the atmosphere, smell of burgers, big malts and Riversides still makes Annie’s one of our favorite retro-date places. The nostagia and fries add to the experience and the outdoor terrace – weather permitting – is another plus. Long live Annie’s!!! Pros + Gotta try a Riverside with chocolate and banana maltCons – Service can be slow. Be prepared for talking time.

We showed up and it didnt look like much from the outside. Remember, looks can be deceiving. It actually looks like a tiny hole in the wall place next to a dry cleaners, but the atmosphere, delicious food, and righteous prices make up for it. Never judge this book by the cover.I ate mussels for the first time yesterday and they were absolutely delicious. Their steak reminded me of a mannys, mortons of chicago, jax, or capitol grill, but was about half the price. The staff were all very polite and were on top of making sure our glasses were kept full. They will get my business anytime I am in the South Minneapolis/Edina area. Pros + High quality everythingCons – no scotch or hard liquor, only beer and wine
