Too pricey for me for dinner but for lunch don’t miss out. The chocolate strawberries alone are enough to keep me coming back. Great service and atmosphere is upscale. I have never had a bad lunch here whether it’s a burger, calimari or a salad, all exceptional.

In a nutshell, these are my two favorite things about the Corner Pug. They have a wonderful brunch menu and atmosphere and, so far, are the only place in town I can get a good shephard’s pie.

Every Wednesday night @ City Steam in Hartford PV O’Donnell (an internationally known irish filddler) and friends get together and play Irish music. There is no cover, the appetizers are fantastic (try the home made potato chips) and they brew their own beer. The musicians are simply people who live the music, so get together and play – very casual, very fun. This is the kind of thing people go to Dublin to find, but instead end up in a tourist trap.

An authentic Irish Pub. Great food and a truly proper pint of Guinness. Live bands on scheduled days. The menu is limited. Everything served is great. I love the Irish meatloaf. They even make a perfect Margarita. A must see to appreciate.
