Where are the Best French Fries in Detroit, Michigan?
Food is great, I haven’t ordered anything I don’t like yet and I’ve tried all but a couple items on the menu. Ambience is typical for a bar and grill. It’s a little loud at times, and often crowded. This place is popular so get there before 6 for quicker service. Avoid sitting by the game room if you don’t like the sound of kids having fun. Service is usually perfect. Ocassionaly they are busy and run a little short handed, but the girls work hard and never forget what you’ve asked for. They recently changed the menu and some of the new items look worth trying out. I had the BLT pizza and loved it. The burgers are good, as are the fajitas, pizza, chili, and seasoned fries.
Just started going back to this place in Oct 2006 and we’re hooked … the pizza has been Xcellent every time – the Spinach Artichoke Quesadilla is the best with the tomatoes on top – and make sure to try the sweet potatoe fries! The beers’ been cold, the mixed drinks potent 🙂 and we haven’t had any bad waitresses or waiters. (I think we’ve been there about 5 times just between Dec and Jan.) We prefer the 4:30/5pm dinner hour… not so crowded and hectic. Love the “up-north” atmosphere – you just better be OK with having a deer over your head, or one staing at you while you’re eating! Definitely a bar with a restaurant, but with wayyy better food than most bars!
