Where are the Best French Fries in Atlanta, Georgia?

This place has great burgers and milk shakes. The service is slow and so are the cooks. You place the order and pay then you get a number for the table and wait and wait…. The thing to note here is the wait is just that way it is and the food is good. If you want fast food then go to the other spots that have a drive thru. This place is more an experience. The juke box often is loaded already with Rap and R&B so you can pay to hear music but who knows how soon the selections happen to be played? Do tip a dollar just to hear the waiter hollar FAT TIP and then the stafff to hollar THANK YOU! And they mean it … They really do appreciate the tips. They clean the tables so again not fast food … they do have service like I said but it is just slow so going with that in mind you will have a good time. I always do!!!Pros + Great burgers and shakesCons – slow cooks and service

Took my wife for dinner on a tuesday nite. Had reservations but not needed. Really like the small and intimate atmosphere. We had the hummus appetizer which was top notch. We actually had it cleared from our table with some left (not like us at all), but felt with so much food coming it would fill us up…Our waitress brought our arugula salad (we ordered one to share) already split on two plates, very thoughtful. The salad was excellent with a few dried onions. My wife and I loved it. Now the fun part – we ordered the skate wing and fried chicken entrees. I was a little hesitant on the skate, but since I saw so many people rate it highly – and the servers endorsement…I took a chance. It was AWESOME. It had a scallop feel and was fibrous, not fishy at all. The grits served with it made the dish. The chicken was delightful, a true southern dish cooked masterfully. I mentioned to the server it was my wifes birthday, and she brought our dessert (3 small dishes – dried cherry tart, choco

A great spot for a romantic dinner and also a girls night out! This place has an old city charm to it with a upscale diner kind of feel. You would never think the inside looks the way it does from the outside. Vickery’s looks iike it use to be a house that they remodled. Great outside patio overlooking the Midtown skyline with a even better menu to go with it. I ordered their cheeseburger with macaroni and cheese. Their macaroni and cheese is so different with little pieces of pepper in it but is sooo good! I have also heard their tator tots are incredible! Centered right in the middle of Crescent Street, this is a great place for a dinner before a night on the town!

This is hands down some of the best fast diner food I have ever had! Where else do you get a foot long chilidog with slaw and onions where the bun is grilled! The side items keep me coming back. How could you not when they have homemade onion rings, TATER TOTS, and crinkle fries? Zesto being locally owned has more selection than the generic chain fast food such as turkey burgers, tuna steak sandwich, homemade chicken salad, wings, and great salads. You must save room for the crown jewel of Zesto old-fashioned soft serve ice cream. Whether you like Brown Cow cones, milkshakes or the tried and true banana split you will leave happy and full without empting your wallet. The building itself is a throw back to the diner days of old. A must try in Atlanta.Pros + Ice Cream, Chubby Decker, Foot Long Hot Dogs

You won’t find better chopped BBQ in Atlanta in my opinion: the meat is fresh, you get a choice of 6 sauces, and the portions are generous. The hush puppies are little but extremely good. I always get an extra side of the puppies! The burgers are pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Unless you just have to have a burger, stick with ribs or chopped BBQ. The service is excellent: they don’t pester you, but they don’t ignore you either. The draft is always great.Pros + food, atmosphere, outdoor eating avail.Cons – not open for lunch
