Where are the Best Exotic Drinks in Phoenix, Arizona?
by the looks of the exterior, you’d never expect the ambience inside this place. everything was just right – the mirrors, the lights, and the general layout. the beef tenderloin bruschetta was melt-in-your-mouth GOOD and the desserts were a steal. we tried 3 (tiramisu, creme brulee, and roasted banana gelato) for only 7 bucks! extensive martini menu, too. we’d definitely go again!Pros + price, ambience, dessert
prompt and attentive service, subpar food. Shrimp tacos: need to be wrapped in two tortillas, one bite and they fall apart.. shrimp are fairly tasteless… enchildas.. .are more like soft tacos with tons of cheese melted on top, filling.. pretty mediocre. Cheese dip.. passable.. salsa served with chips..borders on the sweet side. not spicy at all..This is your typical ‘chain’ restaurant type mexican eatery.. Margaritas must be good as the noise level indicated.. R=Pros + seemed to have festive atmosphere, could be a con.. good serviceCons – subpar mexican food
Drift offers decent beer and wine selections in a pleasant atmosphere. Inside decor is a bit like being at Disneyland, but it works well. The food is interesting and enjoyable. Food and drinks can get pricey, but they have to pay for the atmosphere in one way or another. As others before me have pointed out, the service at this place stinks more often than not. They also have a tendency to turn off the misting system on the patio and crank up the fire-spewing tiki torches too early, leaving you in a puddle of sweat during the hot months. They will turn them back on, though, with a request.Drift is looking to expand its patio into the parking lot and add a waterfall. The designs look pretty cool and seem to include cabana-like havens for more private enjoyment.Bottom line: If you have patience for poor service, Drift offers plenty of enjoyment.Pros + Atmosphere, Concept and DesignCons – Poor Wait Service
