Where are the Best Exotic Drinks in Los Angeles, California?
My husband and I went there last night and if I had read the reviews I might not have gone, but I am glad I did. We ordered the Izakaya Feast and it was fantastic!!! Our servers name was Chris and he was charming, our food came fast….very fast actually. Our tea was constantly refilled without asking, our food was introduced and explained to us as it was served, the manager came over and gave us his card and invited us back. I loved the place! The only problem we had was parking down below. My husbands truck is too tall for underground parking so we had to park in the $12 lot. Oh well……One more thing….I never go to restaurants for “the scene” I prefer the beach actually where you can look and dress and be whatever and whoever. High-end, Sunset strip, hip-slick-cool-see and be seen places are NOT interesting to me at all. I went for the food. It was fabulous! We will go back.Pros + Food and Service!!!Cons – parking
I was hosting a dinner for 20 people – we had a signed contract and had been in touch with the private events coordinator multiple times before the dinner to choose menus, table set ups etc. We arrived and they did not have printed menu cards for our guests’ choices or tablecloths on the tables (both of which I was originally told they would have). They were unsympathetic to the fact that we had been told that these would be done. There is no door to the kitchen so if you’re seated nearby the fans can be very noisy. Service was fine though they were not very accommodating with simple changes or requests.Food was fine, drinks were fine. Just stick to smaller groups – despite our experience it seems like it’s a great drink or dinner spot for dates/friends.Pros + Nice decor, cool ambiance. Good drink or dinner spot for a date or a night out with one or two friends.Cons – Bad for large groups – even w/ a signed contract!
Had dinner the other night. Service was not good. Had to call the waiter or ask the busboy to get the waiter each time we needed something. Their entrees are huge, and so are the prices — $26.50 to $30. Very noisy when the room is full. I’ll only return if they give me a coupon to use. I must say the food was very tasty.
