Where are the Best DJs in Orange County, California?
Detroit Bar is okay for a local place. They play some really good music on Saturday nights (lots of progressive house, trance, hip hop etc), lots of friendly folks, good vibes. The one thing is everyone is YOUNG. I mean, I’m 23, but still, I mean young like they looked like they just turned 21 Lol…. There are 2 different rooms to go into. It’s an okay place for a local night out with your friends. Lots of people dance. THe one bad thing is the place is TINY. It’s as big as a closet. So, like, if you’re going there to meet guys/girls etc. it’s kind of like after 5 minutes you’ve seen everyone you’re gonna see all night! “Hey what’s goin on?” Then you reject some guy or some girl then 5 seconds later they’re like right next to you. You can’t really disappear into the club and lose them like some bigger clubs Lol. It’s kind of dumpy outside, and inside it’s ok. Eh, if you have nothing better to do, go here, but don’t go expecting it’s gonna be like some great awesome club.
It’s a very loungy place on the right day. Since it’s small, it’ll be a little crowded on weekends. But after work, it’s great to hang out and talk since most likely there won’t be anybody there. A bartender there told me that there isn’t usually anybody there on weekdays, so if you need to hang out somewhere without too big of a crowd, Kitsch Bar is the place to be.Pros + cool bartenders, nice dark lighting, very laid-back, can stay for hoursCons – get too crowded on weekends, dj isn’t that great, don’t have much to do if you get bored
In reading these reviews, it seems many rate the experience on “1” specific occurance. As an objective person, here are the facts: I am 41(but never guess that) , family, professional, great shape, and luckily above average looks & dance skills. My wife and I visit this Location 2-3 times annually.–1st, arrive early (930ish) because it gets crowded at the blink of an eye. its nice to have a table to relax during the evening. NO COVER is a nice “un-O.C.” way to begin the evening. The D.J. plays a wide range of music (Classic Rock, Hip Hop, R&B), but the dance floor is only average in size. The floor does get packed but NOT unbearable. The Service and Drinks are always above Average. There is a nice out-door area (large), and 2 pool tables inside the Bar, adjacent to the Dance Floor. There is a large mix of people that visit this establishment. As a result there might be a handful of people “YOU” would not associate with. If you are the OC-Judgemental Type, then you might be happier goi
