I recently went to the Baby Anne show at Ampersand. I have never been to a better party in New Orleans. Although I am a native of Baton Rouge, I intend to travel often to visit. People were dancing everwhere, on the tables, sofas, by the bar, vault, gogo girls in the windows and cage– every corner turned, people dancing with abandon. They even expanded into the building lobby to accomadate the clientile. I wish words could describe the vibe this place has and the parties ampersand produces. This is big city life.
