Where are the Best DJs in Miami, Florida?
This place is way too much over rated. First of all, as you guys all know, club atmosphere change every minute, and this is NOT an upscale club. You do not have to dress up to impress, just regular club outfits. Only thing that’s upscale is about their drink prices. Also, entrance line is VERY long, expect about 30-45 mins waiting guys. Music is okay, and drink is not bad either- the impression that I got from this place is this is a typical ‘tourist’ club, not celeb hang out anymore.Pros + Even it says no smoking, you can smoke.Cons – Long wait line, atmosphere, and prices.
After not going to a club for a while, I was invited to The Forge for dinner and then we went on to Glass. I had heard so much about it that maybe I was expecting too much. One thing, it is the palce to be seen. This is the palce to see many of Hollywood famous people. When you least expect it, one of them walks in. They are treated like Royaly. Aside from that you will Who’s Who in Miami. It is an international scene.I would recommend people to go for the experience.Pros + It’s OKCons – Overrated
That bald headed dooche bag (spelled incorrectly on purpose) has been monitoring the door for years turning down as many people as possible. I’ve seen more people get turned away from this club than those going in. We tried to get in SET this past Sat night (November 28, 2009) and he was motioning to his “protege” how to handle each client trying to get passed the rope. Baldy allowed groups of people he KNEW in for free. There was no one else in line when we walked up. Then the “protege” approached us and said they are only offering bottle service. So I inquired…..he said minimum of TWO bottles and he could not give me a price on it anyway. I was with my husband (party of 2). There is no way we could finish off 2 bottles of liqour and they did not want us to. Obviously they did not want us in there. However, we watched several groups of girls exit the club and they were dog ugly—googly eyed. I guess that is the preferred clientele baldy is interested in attracting to
The cab driver said this opened around Sept 2006? And there’s a lot of buzz about it because of again, the very strict doorman. Very difficult for males to get in, especially if you’re not trendy or cute enough. To some extent the doorman tries to make some people wait outside forever so as to create an illusion of the club’s popularity. My friend and I got in (both girls) easily on a relatively quiet night, and the place was more like a bar and lounge than it is a club because it was pretty small and there were no dancefloors. Many beautiful people inside, no doubt, but don’t expect yourself to be dancing away very much…it’s probably more of a friends get together mingling type of scene. Pros + No cover, new and cozyCons – Doorman, more of a lounge than a club on non-event nights
went to skybar on a monday night and was disappointed that there was NO ONE there! it was really my friend and i, the bartender, and the manager. the bartender is the sole reason why we stayed.. he was so cute and nice and gave us a free shot. the music was cool… would definitely go back when i know there would be more of a crowd… ANY crowd!
