Where are the Best Chicken Wings in Denver, Colorado?
This place is so fun. When it was Falcon Bowl, it was cool but now they added Moe’s BBQ…such a good move as it is the BEST! geta group and come bowl on one side and then watch live music on the other, not to mention pool table and games. You need to check this place out!Pros + Awesome BBQ, bowling & Live musicCons – off the beat in path a bit but worth the drive
This bar has great ambiance, and it located in my favorite Denver neighborhood. We watched the soccer finals a few years back the first time I had been there, and it was a perfect spot. The drinks were good, plenty of TVs to watch the action, and an overall jovial crowd made for a grand time. Cherry Creek dissolved away, and we were in England throwing back a few pints with our best buds. The only drawback was lack of parking in the area. But it won’t stop me from bringing everybody I know?whenever I can! Bottoms up!Cons – parking
These guys have been doing wings here for over 20 years, they know what they are doing. They have 9 flavors. DeathValley is there hottest, but I perfer the XXX-Hot, it has little chunks of Jalapeno blended in it. And it’s great for a hangover cure. The BBQ is sweet and tangy. Medium and Light are real buttery, they are fantastic. They also have regular hot, sweet n sour, singapore hot which is like a teryika, and Lemonherb which my mom loves to mix with the regular hot. I hear that this location originates from the birthplace of wings, The Anchor Bar in Buffalo New York. They also feature Pudge Bros Pizza now, and they make a mean pie. I would recommend the 5-Meat or the Barnie Fife which is a White garlic Chicken pizza. It’s great! You know where I’m eating tonight!Pros + Great wings, Great pizza, Great fried snacks!Cons – Small place, pick up and delivery only.
While this is definitely a biker bar at heart, you really see many types of people there, including more granola types like myself. Wouldn’t recommend going if you see more than ~20 bikes in the lot, as at certain times the bikers truly take over the bar and it becomes very crowded. The (smoking and nonsmoking) patios are fun and heated for the winter. Wings are some of the best I’ve ever had, which says alot. Service can be questionable/slow, as they get very busy and can be understaffed, but the girls are always fun and friendly (although not necessarily “hot biker chicks” as mentioned in previous review). Happy hour is awesome and I, personally, go once a week. Good times!Pros + Cheap, tasty wings and other food and drinks. Fun atmosphere. Friendly people.Cons – Can be very busy and crowded.
