Where are the Best Cheap Eats in Santa Fe, New Mexico?
This isn’t the place to go for a gourmet meal, unless you’re talking desserts. It’s the place to meet friends, have good, hearty food, and enjoy the wait staff. Regulars are cherished, and get more love from the staff when Harry’s is their Cheers Bar, but I’ve almost always found the service to be pleasant, and often friendly, and almost always competent. I’ve eaten at Harry’s off and on for 7 years. You can sit at the counter, like a diner, in the bar (which is a full bar: beer, wine, hard stuff) on stools or at the bar, or in one of the three dining rooms or even outdoors when the weather is nice. Some folks may have had a single bad experience at Harry’s and written a scathing review here in revenge. Pfooey: every waiter, every restaurant, will fumble now and then.
