Burgers are simple, juicy, and prepared fresh. Try the milkshakes, which are thick and perfectly complement the chuck and fresh fries. Retro-design is cute. Lots of tables. Good for kids and groups.Pros + Good Burgers, Lots of space, Good for FamiliesCons – Cheesy Atmosphere

We showed up at 7:00 on a Saturday night with no reservations, and the place was empty! A little disappointing, but our experience made up for it! The atmosphere is bright and casual, and the service was fantastic! We brought our 2-year old, and the staff was VERY accommodating and friendly. Ordered garlic naan, veggie pakora, curries, chicken tikka masala, and all was good. Not fantastic, but very good. There is a liquor store across the street, and Rotee allows you to bring in wine with no corkage fee. We would go again!Pros + prices, friendly service

Caveat to my review: I went EARLY (7am) Monday morning so there was no wait. But I can see why there would be. The waitress was SO friendly and continually kept filling my coffee cup. It never got below the half-cup mark. The food came right away and tasted awesome and portions were definitely worth it. Great place for breakfast with a friend. Would not come here with crowds, though. Pros + friendly, fast, qualityCons – small tables, small cafe

A quintessential dive so you’ve got to have a strong stomach for a place lacking in hygiene and fancy restaurant amenities. But if you’re into food that’s authentic, finely tuned with spices and gives you the true-to-form flavors of the region, this is it! Everything is made to order and you can watch them make it in the open kitchen. Plus it’s SO cheap! It was the first visit for 3 of us so we ordered a variety of dishes and after gorging ourselves, still had plenty left over. It all totaled less than $25. I’m definitely going back! As first-timers, we took their recommended dishes and had a tandoori chicken, curry dish, okra, lentils, garlic naan and rice.Pros + Great value! Authentic Indian flavors.Cons – Parking is tough and I wouldn’t want to be in the neighborhood at night.

Never have I had a restaurant so willing to accomodate me. I couldn’t make up my mind between the wasabi bowl or the fish tacos so they gave me both, half a bowl and one fish taco. It was outstanding and the prices aren’t to be believed, they are dirt cheap and the food is wonderful. I wish I had them at home, I’d be there every week. The wait staff is more than friendly, I even got a hug on my way out. Not to be missed when in San Francisco!Pros + Very inexpensive and a great valueCons – None
