Where are the Best Cheap Eats in San Diego, California?
I have been eating at El Indio for 30 years, since my childhood in San Diego. They make the food at all other taco shops look small and insignificant. You can tast how fresh everything is and the catering is wonderful. Luckily, they are close to the airport so I can stop there for their huge taquito plate whenever I come back from a trip. My wife and I used to get the Panchos Nachos every Saturday morning for breakfast. A month ago we both got very sick within an hour of eating the nachos. We did not go back for a month until we decided to give Los Panchos the benefit of the doubt and went back last Saturday on the 31st of May and got the nachos. This time I got so sick that I had a severe fever and nearly had to go to the hospital. Anyone considering eating at Los Panchos across from South Western Junior College need to beware. We went back and got bitten twice. I do not recommend this restaraunt to anyone.Pros + NoneCons – Food made me and my wife sick
My son and I stopped in by chance when the restaurant first opened and we have been HUGE fans ever since – (great idea to have a stand at the OB Farmer’s Market too by the way). I can not tell you how many people I have turned on to your BRILLIANT menu! My entire office gets together and places orders all of the time. I am so happy for your success! Great service and location too!
