Where are the Best Cheap Eats in Nashville, Tennessee?
This place TOTALLY ROCKS!!! YUMO!Their burger and fries are all that I’ve had there so far, and they are AWESOME!!!!Their Fries and burgers are seasoned perfectly–Definitely one of the best burgers and fries I’ve had in Nashville so far!!You have to eat in your car or on their picnic table, but it’s no compromise really at all for the food!I will definitely bring out of towners to eat here!Pros + FOOD, order acuracyCons – no eat inside space if that bothers you– but it’s so worth it!
I am so glad to come on here and see so many fantastic reviews for Baja. My co-workers and I all pile up into two or three cars and head out there for lunch every Thursday (…although this week we also went on Tuesday…can’t get enough). You can’t beat the atmosphere or the price and even the parking isn’t so bad if you know the secrets and you aren’t too lazy to walk a few feet (There’s plenty of parking reserved for Baja in the Wolf Camera parking lot). As a vegetarian, this place makes it so easy for me to enjoy a super delicious meal. The staff is also extremely friendly, and they all remember us and our orders each week (I’m especially fond of the cashier…she kind of rocks). I run into someone I know almost every week and it isn’t even surprising anymore (I guess I’m glad to have chosen friends with great taste!)Sitting inside is fun, but sitting outside creates the best dining experience. We often comment that we feel like we’re somewhere secluded on a beach when we sit out
My husband and I went to the San Antonio Taco Company after hearing rave reviews from many of our friends as well as here online. The food is in fact delicious but very different than the “typical” food you would get ordering at someplace like Camino Real. For example we both ordered fajitas. Most people around here think of fajitas coming out to them on a sizzling plate with tortillas. The SATC’s fajitas were more like soft tacos. Very very tasty and unbelievably fresh but tacos nonetheless. As others have mentioned the SATC doesn’t seem to abide by the slogan “service with a smile” they barely look at you when you hand them your order and seem kinda put out to be asked anything. My husband and I were sitting at one of the tables outside when two of the workers came over to the trash can that was right next to our table and began to take the trash out. EWWW. I know such things have to be done but would it really have mattered to wait a few minutes until we were done eating? Seeing ste
We went to Demo’s on a Monday night; after arriving in town. A friend had recommended this restaurant. We both ordered the sirloin steak and it did not disapoint. It was cooked to order, juicy and had a delicous marinade or seasoning on it. Our waiter was very attentive. We sat right away when we arrived. The bread was very good – either a parmesan or asiago cheese bread. The salad was average – but the homemade dressings were very good. Try the blue cheese. We were not impressed with the side dish of pasta – I ordered the browned butter and my friend had the meat sauce. We would go back here again – reasonable prices/reasonable food – and excellent steaks.Pros + prices, steaks, homemade salad dressing, serviceCons – spaghetti
