Our Red Hat Bawdy Broads group thoroughly enjoyed out visit and luncheon – both the buffet and menu are exceptional. Service was prompt, efficient and courteous. Several took advantage of their ethnic food shopping area. All were agreeable to a revisit.

I am shocked and awed that such an awesome place exist on this part of Atlantic Boulevard! This cafe has good coffee, great breakfast, sandwiches, and classic american meals. The dessert is out of this world and includes homemade pies and homemade banana pudding.

If you’ve never eaten mexican food any where outside of Florida, then I guess you could say it’s the best. But the best compared to what…Taco Bell??? The food is a mediocre attempt at “authentic” mexican food. It is pre-made and don’t ask to omit anything in the dis because you will still get the exact menu item. 2 of our 4 orders were incorrect and 1 was forgotten. Stay away from their attempt at “Fried Ice Cream”…HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Do not bother to leave a tip on the table unless you are prepared to pay your bill in cash as they apparently add a whopping 20% tip to your credit card charge, no matter what you put on the receipt. 20%??? They’re not THAT good! For real mexican food in the U.S you need to fly to Texas, New Mexico, or California, then come back and review La Nopolera.Cons – Pre-Made food, Cannot omit items, Automatic 20% tip?!?!

My wife and I move alot and came across Moon River Pizza in Jacksonville about 3 months ago. You will never find a place with better atmosphere or pizza. My wife would go there and just sit and watch the girls throwing the dough while listening to the Beatles and admiring the artwork on the walls from local artists. The entire crew works together. The guy that takes your order at the counter will stop by and ask if you’d like a drink refill. The girl cleaning off the tables will bring you to-go containers. Everyone works together, sings together, jokes together. All the employees have tattoos or piercings or wear bandanas. I compare every pizza place I’ve ever been to this one, and they all come up lacking.In short: amazing pizza, unbelievable customer service, fantastic atmosphere. Moon River Rocks!!!Pros + Service, Food, AtmosphereCons – Very busy on Fridays; hard to find a seat.
