Where are the Best Cheap Eats in Denver, Colorado?
I’ve noticed a few negative reviews lately for Taki’s – and I think I have the answer – the owner of Taki’s passed away about six months ago – the “brusque” woman who keeps getting mentioned is NOT the owner. The restaurant is currently being managed by a holding group until the new owners take possession. Until then it’s sort of on auto pilot. Get over it, if you don’t like the first margarita out of the tap, better have another to form a better analysis. Not sure after two, have a third and…Wait, this is a restaurant review, which implies food. OK, you order up front, get a number, sit down and wait. Now that’s out of the way, please try the Wahoo bowl with blackened mahi mahi, a little dressing and one of those margarita’s that was alluded to above. The chips are OK, the salsa with it is fresh and good, sometimes a little too much cilantro but YMMV. Pork, steak and chicken are all good, marinaded to perfection and cooked just right. My two year old is already a regular and enjoys the entire menu, except the margarita’s of course!Pros + Fish tacos, combos, margarita’s
When I was married and Lived in Littleton, we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory OFTEN!! We always had at least part of our order as “Browned Butter and Mazithra cheese. I learned to LOVE it. My wife and I would use ANY excuse to go there for that Spaghetti. Now that I lived in Tennessee, I REALLY miss that place. Guess I’ll try the one in Nashville again someday. Pros + Unique atmosphere, Cons – Had to wait for a table sometimes
