I was just there for the first time last night. Great atmosphere – not too noisy but lively. Reminded me of Cheers, only smaller. Lousy par…

I do like Brennan’s but it should not be listed as the cheapest – I would have to say average prices as most restaurants. I used to think that they had large portions but the last time I visited (3 days ago) my normal order is the salmon cesar salad and the piece of salmon they gave this time around was 1/2 the size it normally is. Also their side of fries are a bit pricey but good and that portion size went down too but the price didn’t. That was very disappointing. The service here has always been slow, they draw a huge local crowd – as it is a favorite bar and restaurant hang out – so if you plan on visiting plan on staying you will be here a bit so relax with appetizers and a drink perhaps. I wish they would hire more staff to handle the crowds so when you have children they do not have to wait too long to eat. The day we went they also had a magician for the kids that was very cool!Pros + Kid friendly, average prices, kids eat free one night a weekCons – smaller portions

I have been living in Florida for 5 years now and every single trip I make home (and that’s 2-3x a year) my first stop on the way back to the airport is at MIGHTY TACO. I ALWAYS take a super mighty pack home with me. And, when other’s on the plane are eating their pretzels and nuts, I pull out my Super Mighty. I could easily sell them for twice what I paid, if not more to the other travelers.

After sampling what passes for Mexican cuisine here – Mighty Taco, Tijuana Taco, Cristan’s and several forgettable independent places around the city, we finally found a nice place to pick up tacos, fajita meat & quesadillas. It’s Lone Star! The food is prepared very close to the way they do it in Texas – flavorful and w/ spice. Beans, cheese, guacamole, taco meat & fajita are all done right for once. And the decor of the place is just perfect – it reminds one of a traditional eatery in south Texas or Mexico! All in all, highly recommended…Pros + great flavor, inexpensive, authentic feel

I was in town visiting family for St Patrick’s Day week and stopped into this place that I used to frequent before I moved. The only downside was to hear that John the bartender was no longer working there, but Becky (our waitress) more than made up for the loss with her pleasant, knowledgeable and cheerful service that made the experience a real pleasure for my wife and I.We enjoyed the Irish fare that was being offered during Paddy’s Day week. I had the Bangers and Mash and my wife had the boiled ham and cabbage dinner. All I can say is that if both of these items would be a constant on the French Pub menu, I not only think I’d move a lot closer to home, but I guarantee that this place would be even busier than they are now.Fantastic Irish food that they served and I’ve had the wings before too, which were very good too. It’s nice to see a great little business like this thriving in the neighborhood, but I beg the management to add the Irish food back to the menu, even if only one
