Where are the Best Cheap Eats in Buffalo, New York?
Taffy’s is a great place to eat. The food is excellent, and very well priced. They have wooden gliders that you eat at outside. Very different from your typical fast food. Very nice setting, with flowers everywhere. I have never seen so many flavors of milkshakes, and my husband says they are great. There is something for everyone, and you will not walk away hungry as the portions are fine. It is definitely a place you want to visit over and over again.
Pleasantly surprised. Of course we’ve all heard about this place, but I kept hearing from Buffalo residents that even though it’s home to the original buffalo wing, that “it’s not that great’. I beg to differ. The wings were excellent. Too many restaurants in this city are in the habit of overcooking the chicken and just smothering it in Buffalo sauce. You can dip a piece of cardboard in Buffalo sauce and have it taste the same. Anchor Bar does it right by not overcooking the wings – they were juicy and delicious. I will go again. I also like the atmosphere, the pictures on the walls, the pub feel. It’s great.
In going there over 5 years the size, taste, and quality have never changed. Its the same great taste and value each and every time.You can never be afraid to recomend this burger to anyone as it is always great,Dont forget the wings as well.
