Where are the Best Cheap Eats in Boston, Massachusetts?
I LOVE this place! I don’t care however long the wait is, I will wait! This place serves very very good Vietnamese food. I alwasy get Dac Biet. It’s HUGE and it’s GOOD! Service is not too friendly, but very fast. As long as food is good and cheap who cares! I would recommend this place any time. If you are craving for Mexican, check out Taqueria Mexico in Waltham. Really 2.5 stars. Cambridge Common is a frequent destination for HLS students looking to grab a few drinks with a large crew and occasionally some cheap eats. The food although diverse isnt particularly special. Theres a lot to choose from and there are usually some specials the portions are enormous.The dimly lit restaurant is often crowded and somewhat tightly packed. Theres a large bar area for those who just want to drink and a handful of TVs perennially tuned to ESPN. Beer selection is plentiful and they serve fairly potent mixed drinks in a pint glass. Named after a boozing ex-postal carrier turned writer, Bukowski Tavern offers the largest beer selection in Boston. With over 15 taps and ?99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall,? (from a $3 Pabst Blue Ribbon to a $13 Lindemans Lambic), the choices are dizzying. Bartenders help overwhelmed patrons choose by spinning their dial-a-beer wheel. But beware, because wherever it lands, the brew ? and the bill ? will end up on your table. Besides the drinks, Bukowski also has semi-decent bar food.
