Where are the Best Cheap Eats in Atlanta, Georgia?
This is for sure a joint. Inside though you will find the best ribs in Atlanta and the rest of the menu isn’t too shabby either. Don’t forget the baked beans. The atmosphere is usually loud with an Atlanta local band trying its thing and the sound of people inside on a busy night can be deafening. The food is amazing. Get it to go if you have to, but get it to go. Next door you’ll find the fish and chicken shack and while the atmosphere is not so hot, the food is just as good.
Overall, I recommed Wolfgang Puck’s Express. Of the new genre of counter eateries, this is one the better ones. The prices are very affordable. All dishes range from $6 to $12.We tried two dishes: the Pumpkin Ravioli and the Margherita Pizza. Both were exquisite. Both were marked as “specialties” on the menu. I’ve had a few other things on the menu that weren’t very good, so I would stick to these or maybe other specialites.A colorful, European interior with open kitchen creates a pleasant atmosphere. Our service was very good. We ordered to go, and the food took 10 minutes, packaged flawlessly, with everything needed to eat included.Wolf’s is a great value. Portions are not overwhelming, but you’ll be full at the end. It was surprising that the pasta was served with no sides or bread. We spent less than $20 and had a great meal.Pros + Inexpensive, Great food, Easy parkingCons – No sides some dishes
