Hurricaine’s is such a good place to eat. Very affordable, great food with big portions, friendly staff, and quite a retro 60’s style atmosphere. I personaly am a regular customer there, I go there at least once a week with my mom & her boyfriend, seems like we always end up taking home a to go box and eating it later. The staff all are very attentive and hard working, they even have our order started before we even sit down, now thats what I call great service. I have never had anything there that I did not like. I would reccomend it to anyone who ask’s me where to eat.

Feeling sentimental for the 50´s/60´s? As the name implies, the 66 Diner recreates the atmosphere (and food!) of famous Route 66’s era through Albuquerque. (U.S.66 a.k.a. “Central Ave.) Long thought to be extinct in most places, you can still get an honest to God “malt” here…or a shake. Burgers and fries fill the plate! A fun place, especially for kids…or Baby Boomers.

Today we went to Joe’s for a bite to eat. We arrived at 3:05. We were told by the young man with the white shirt, military-looking haircut, and tie, that the brunch menu was still being served. We would have gladly ordered from the regular menu, but when he said we had time to order from the specials. The guy with the tie, who was at the counter almost the entire time, has some real problems. He did not work the entire time. I overheard him talking to a teen-age boy who brought our bread (VERY nice young man.) He was telling this kid how he has seen some “HOT” girls. He went on to describe the women in great and offensive detail, and then told the kid how he had grabbed one of their “asses” and when the girls turned around to see who had violated her, and the Joe’s employee said he looked the other way. It was a disgusting story. I was sorry the teen age boy had to hear it. The older guy (20’s – 30’s?) with the tie, I suppose, was trying to impress ? the teen ager. Strange in itself.

I have twice ordered far from what I have recieved ..The 1st time I orderd nachos, I recieved some tortilla chips with a Min. amount of cheese..The 2nd time I TWICE ordered a spinach quesadilla and recieved a cheese….I explained the problem to your manager and was not only called a liar, but was degrated because I have never had to be disgraced and save a receipt to PROVE that I am telling the truth. I have had many co-workers complain of many of the same occurances , and am now bringing them to public attention. I appreciated your business and understanding until now. I do not appreciate the way myself, my family and my friends have been treated and you will finallly hear from the lot of us! I do not recommend eating here as you will be treated as a liar and cheat!Pros + food is excellant!Cons – manager is rude, myself treated badly, friends treated badly
