Personal service, fireplace in room, beautiful table and chairs to sit by the fire with a cup of tea, extremely comfortable beds…these are just a few of the fine features of this house. Ordering coffee and breakfast the night before, assures you of a beautifully convenient next morning. Coffee service was outside the door at precisely 7am, to my husband’s great delight. We lazed by the fireplace watching the morning news, then went down to breakfast at 9. We wanted to dine where we could enjoy the beautiful gardens. Friendly, pleasant service, fresh organic eggs and herbs from their own farm, plus pancakes to die for, ensure that you will be energized for the day ahead. A walk in the garden and a rest by the pool completed our morning. Watching Anne’s grandchildren playing in the pool gives it the wonderful atmosphere of a family home…so much better than the feeling that a B and B should impart the feeling of being in a “rest home!” We hope to go back for our fiftieth and bring t
I have been staying at least 6 times a year for 4-5 years now. I mostly go for business, but have come for personal travel with my husband and children at times as well. I have stayed in each room at some point.Their website is Awesome, top notch. It tells you everything you need to know about the Inn, has great pictures of the rooms, tells you about the area, restaurants and activities, everything. They serve a continental breakfast and not a full breakfast, but everything is home-made and its fresh and very tasty! Most places nowadays dont serve a full breakfast. If thats your thing, there are plenty of breakfast places in the neighborhood. The amenities are top notch and it shows. The place is always spotless and the staff, more than helpful!
