Where are the best beachfront properties at the Caribbean side?
Bocas Del Toro offers some of the most beautiful beachfront land in the Caribbean, but has been relatively undiscovered by outsiders until recently. It is close to the Caribbean jungle shore, and has beaches perfect for digging clams, catching lobsters and watching the giant sea turtles lay their eggs. It is also a gateway to the beautiful Bahia Charco Azul and the Chiriqui lagoon. Bocas del Toro lies 300 miles northwest of Panama City and is part of the Archipjélago Isla Bastimentos de National Marine Park. These island are home to approximately 10,000 people who make their own living by agriculture and fishing for red snapper and lobster. Population of the main island of Colon is about 4,000. Isla Colon is Bocas Del Toro’s only incorporated town and functions as the seat of all government for this island region. The town features schools, restaurants, hotels, an airport, construction and material companies, and dive shops.
