Where are the Best Bartenders in San Francisco, California?
Since going vegan more than a decade ago, I have been on the search for the perfect pizza. Many have come close, but nothing has been nearly as delectable as the funghi pizza pie at Beretta. The crust was thin but held up well and was tinged with just the right amount of char from the ovens. The sauce had the perfect spicy sweet thing going on, and the mushrooms were earthy and rich, and the ‘cheese’ just brought the whole thing together in a euphoric way I could barely handle. Not since my formative years in NJ and NY have I had pizza this good. Bless you, Beretta, bless you. Pros + Best vegan pizza evah!Cons – Can be a tad loud and crowded, but maybe I’m just old 🙂
The Clift is a great hotel is you are looking for a boutique, non-traditional, luxury hotel in San Francisco. Its located a block away from Union Square & within walking distance from many restaurants. The place has an overall chic modern vibe to it which hits you the minute you step into the lobby – a cool/hip bar, promising restaurant…
The drinks here are fantastic. The crowd is too homogenous for my taste – white, upper class, cell phone yakkers. Last time I was there, some women at the next table were actually passing around a tape measure and comparing their waists. I have found the service here to be hot and cold. In the early evenings, there is only one bartender. We all waited over 20 minutes to be served, and when I asked to be helped after being skipped in line several times, the woman bartender who serves there often actually yelled at me, “WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU WANT THEN?!” The patrons all around me were taken aback and told me not to tip, but I did anyway. The food is good but unreasonably expensive.Pros + great drinks, great foodCons – expensive, long waits, snobby crowd
