Where are the Best Bartenders in San Francisco, California?
I’m not sure how anyone can possibly complain about the wine selection: over 50 by the glass (including some amazing sake!) and an enormous cellar of pretty well priced wines from all over the place. Aside from the obvious candidates (Michael Mina, Dankos, etc), I’d say some of the most interesting wines to be found around town are here (at much better prices to boot). This is not your sad, beat up corner winebar, but one that throbs with energy–yep that means it’s loud on a friday night at 10 pm, but I’ve found it to be wonderfully private on weeknights when you can snuggle in a quiet corner with a glass or two of wine, some pretty tasty food, and, with luck, someone special. The servers here know their stuff (one of the guys told me that they are all studying for the someleir class), and they can be really friendly and generous (they let me taste a bunch of things before deciding on a glass) if you’re nice to them. The food is upscale bistro/trattoria type food–pretty and act
Went to R Bar on its “unofficial” opening night, and we’ ve been going back ever since. The bartenders & owners are cute, friendly and always ready to strike up a conversation. The drinks are amazing, the vibe is great, and they’re always playing good movies at night. You’ll always get great smiles and great drinks here. R Bar is #1 on R list. 😉 Thanks, boys!Pros + Great Drinks, Great Bartenders, Great Service
I love this place! My girlffriends and I have stopped into Kelley’s on more than one occasion to meet with friends and have always found the staff more than accommodating, helpful and probably the most friendly of any bar in the Marina. If Cheer’s were set in this city, they would film it here! We met my brother’s crew there for the Final Four games last weekend and loved how cool the crowd was.Get’s crowded on the weekends, but that’s what I like. You feel like you know everyone there after a couple of visits. And the leather sofas in the back by the fireplace are the perfect setting for people watching and taking it easy. A great looking crowd who appear to have a fun time, tasty cocktails, fun (hot!) bartenders, and no sloppy drunks makes it my prime spot. This place is exactly what the area needed.Pros + comfy interior, fun crowd, great drinksCons – gets busy
