Where are the Best Bartenders in Orlando, Florida?
This place has the hold on the gay scene in orlando. it is OBT which is trashy. The bartenders are appealing, the trash collectiors and bussers are all straight off the trail! gross! i mean truly horrifying! I swear I saw e.t. with a wig on running a trash can on the dance floor! I agree with another parton on here….MAKE YOUR CLUB OVER!!!! IT LOOKS LIKE trash! streemers from the ceiling? really? its rather stale. it hasnt changed in 15 years. come on now….we know your jewish..and ever looking to make a proffit…jsut give some back to the people who are over 21, and still pay your lame cover chargePros + a huge parking lot, always busy, indoor out door optionsCons – the bartenders have cloned body types, bad neighborhood, cover charges, awful decorations
Hello Mike,I was in Orlando on Saturday with the intention of looking at two different bartending schools, yours included. I took the day off and went down (hailing from Deltona and I can’t express enough how impressed with your school I am just from that one visit. The instructor (I am a little embarrassed to admit that I can not remember her name) was fun and friendly and made sure to give me his full attention and answered my questions, despite having a classroom full of students. I had the pleasure of listening in on a few of his lessons and he was absolutely hilarious! What a great impression he made on me about your establishment! I am completely new to bartending, having only worked in restaurants a few times before and never behind the bar, but I was so confident when I left my visit yesterday that taking the course at Orlando Bartending School would give me the proper tools that I would need to be a fantastic bartender that I did not even bother to look at the other school!
Mistake number one is comparing the Orlando POB with New Orleans. The crowd from Univeral’s Citywalk is completely different than Bourbon Street. That said, they did try to recreate many of the same elements. The outdoor patio has similar traits — flaming fountains — but this one isn’t the focal point like the fountain in NO. Dueling pianos are entertaining but didn’t seem to get cranking until much later in the evening.Pros + Hurricanes, fountains, dueling pianos
This is the most urbane bar and restaurant in the city of Orlando if for no other reason than it’s location across the street from Gaston T. Edwards Park is reminiscent of sitting in Central Park and having a cocktail across from Bethesda Fountain. Location aside the bartenders are wonderful and will provide plenty of insight into whatever it is that your pretty little martini addled brain wants to discuss. I found the clientele to be among the most sophisticated in the city as well, although I would up the ante on the dress code (Pleats went out in ’95 boys) just a little! Overall a great little watering hole that can hold its own against any lounge in the country. P.S. Back room is fierce!Pros + Location, Location, LocationCons – No Flat Screens, Parking
