Where are the Best Bartenders in New York, New York?

The reason why some have left this place negative reviews is most likely because they were actually underaged teenagers who tried to get in and realized that YES, they ID and take it very seriously and I don’t blame them. Also, this bar is a true NYC dive (one of the remaining few), so they serve BEER here, no sissy rum drinks!! Doc Holidays is a nice, friendly, neighborhood dive bar in alphabet city. It doesn’t usually get too rowdy from the times I’ve been there. Familiar faces each time I go………friendly patrons……….never seen a fight here either. If you’re looking for a nice, chill spot to drink cheap beer, meet some interesting people, and listen to upbeat country music then Docs is defiinitely the place to be. Don’t get me wrong, it can get fairly crowded at times and girls sometimes even dance on the bar for free shots! Bartenders are also very friendly. Also, you never know who may walk in the doors of Doc Holidays. I remember, I actually saw David Allan Coe h

There are some firsts in life you never forget. Your first kiss, first fight, first trip to Disneyworld etc. For me, that list definitely includes my first trip to M&H. 2 years, and countless visits later, I have become a regular, but that little feeling of anticipation as I walk through the heavy velvet curtains has not totally vanished. Everything about this place is exceptional. The atmosphere can’t be beat, whether you are on a date or just relaxing. All the previous reviews are accurate in that they use fresh squeezed juices, fresh fruit and alot of other goodies that Sasha can get his hands on. The rules are not meant to be pretentious, but to maintain a certain atmosphere. This isn’t the kind of place you can drunkenly sing along to “livin on a prayer” with your girlfriends. There’s nothing wrong with that – but there’s a time and a place. You wouldn’t conduct yourself the same way if you were eating dinner @ Jean Georges as you would at Applebees, would you? The numb

I have been to Society on more then one occasion and the only thing i can say is, WOW, this place is fantastic. There is no other outdoor space like it in the city. The vibe is that of a neighborhood bar with a casual yet very hip crowd. The music is exactly what you want to hear when you want to hear it. I felt as if i was hanging out at a friends house and never wanted the night to end. The staff was friendly and attentive and I never had to look around for my waitress. Even though I live in the east village I come hear as often as i can. Pros + outdoor space music
