Where are the Best Bartenders in Nashville, Tennessee?
don’t get me wrong, I like Mafiaoza’s, but it really isn’t because of the pizza. Tuesday two for one is pretty enticing. But it is hard to get excited about the pizza. two things that make great pizza to me are the crust and sauce. mafiaoza’s has great crust, but the sauce really lacks, the last couple of pizza’s I got barely had any at all. A friend ordered the buschetta and it came as a big loaf of bread with the tomatoes just poured over the top. Not really appetizing. For happy hour go to Mafiaoza’s, but for Pizza go to Angelos Picnic Pizza.
I’m afraid I have to agree with some of the comment from other folks. This place is great your first couple of times but the luster quickly wears off. I’m willing to bet that the attitude that some of the staff has is because so much of the crowd is younger and inexperienced. I’m mean, c’mon. Fluctuating drink prices, they still don’t take cards and they don’t run tabs. Who does that anymore? Not to mention the power-drunk staff and management. They know that most of these folks will come back because there is nothing like it in town. The ATM in the lobby isn’t a convienience, it’s an eyesore. It’s something you would expect to see at some trashy laundrymat. I’ve had several folks tell me that the scene (regular patrons) rotates about every 8-10 months. With the entertainment (drag shows) I can see why. The featured perfomers are nice (brought in from the outside). The regulars have become complacent and lazy. The entire show is spent walking from one dollar to the next. That’s no
The Tin Roof has this laid-back atmosphere that lets you just chill… Their food is good, not just bar food but their lunches too. On a nice day you can have your lunch at the patio. Their service is alright but the bartenders are really nice and friendly. Now on Wednesdays at 10PM, you can listen to Henry and the Seahawks. The Tin Roof is a nice place to check out when you’re in Nashville.
I love how this bar is ‘hidden’, keeps away all the tourists! Went on a Saturday- and was kinda disappointed of the crowd. It wasn’t completly dead, but not crowded- but i just expected more. They have a Jukebox, which is a cool addition. Music is kind of loud if you’re just sitting around and chatting, but it’s not that bad. The beer is high. That’s my only complaint. They make a KILER Singapore Sling, the best drink ever- i recommend everyone try it! I can see where it can very easily become a stand up bar, as there isn’t really that much seating. Well- i guess it’s sufficent, since there is a pool table in the middle of the floor. I loved it there, and i’m gonna go back here soon. Oh, the bar food is amazing!! They have these ‘mini tacos’ oh, they are great!! I LOVE THEM! (Located under h00ters on Church street)Pros + Great Enviornment, Fast service, Friendly staffCons – Loud music, High Beer
I used to LOVE McDougal’s. It was one of my very favorite places to go. Some of the best chicken wings I have ever eaten, fabulous hand cut fries, and super cold beer that you could order by the “bucket”. After one of the owners started having children, he must have decided to make it more of a “family” restaurant, and a lot of the atmosphere/ambiance/quirkiness that made McDougal’s so fun and unique is now gone. Gone are the regular outside table and chairs, to make way for picnic tables that hold 8-10 people. Often people are now forced to share tables, which I am just not interested in doing. Gone are the barstools inside, and in comes the ice cream machine (??) No longer will they sell buckets of beer, and to make matters even worse, you can no longer run a tab, so you are forced to stand in a long line of people ordering food, beers, wings etc when you might just want to grab another beer. The last time I was in was after the Country Music Marathon, and my group ended up st
