Where are the Best Bartenders in Minneapolis, Minnesota?

Recently went to Mortons on a Thursday evening around 5:30 with a group of 3. Made reservation and was seated right away. It is located below street level so no windows and not much light, which worked with the ambience they are going for. Serice was good but I expected a little better/more attention at a high end steakhouse. Waitress brought out all the cuts of meat on a tray but it had celophane over it so some cuts were hard to see. Smoked salmon app was great. Lyonaise potatos were an excellent side dish, and the steak was about the best I have had in downtown Minneapolis. Atmosphere was ok. Had Sinatra in the back ground and some retro pictures of old Mlps, but overall pretty bland.Pros + Cajun Ribeye, Salmon, Lyonaise Potatos

1. I manage a restaurant in Minneapolis and have the utmost patience for “restaurant stuff”. 2. Before this experience I have had 2 very good dining experiences at Town Talk but had never sat at the bar. 3. I went to Town Talk with a friend a couple weeks ago on a Friday night. We got there around 7pm, they were packed (which is great!), I saw 2 spots open at the bar as I walked in, I asked the gent behind the bar if I could take them, he said sure. We sat in those 2 spots for 15 minutes with 2 dirty water glasses in front of us as the bartender/owner (as I’ve now learned, it was one of the owners that was serving me) talked over us to his friends that were waiting for a table. When he asked us finally if we needed anything, I said, “I’d love a menu, 2 fresh waters and the bar to be wiped down”, he apologized and got us what we needed right away- he had obviously forgotten about us-that’s ok, here’s where the bad part comes in…..We waited another 20 minutes to get our order i

I love the atmosphere at the Turf Club, particularly the dim and gritty (dim-gritty) atmosphere in the subterranean Clown Lounge. The bartenders serve delightfully strong mixed drinks, which I like to call facemakers.I have only one criticism: I realize the Turf Club is a music club above all else. Alas, the music upstairs is sometimes painstakingly loud, which is only a problem on nights the Clown Lounge is not open, those unfortunately being off-nights when the band is not particularly compelling.Pros + Facemakers, Clown Lounge, MoodCons – Eardrum breakers

The Dubliner is a great, relaxing little place. It’s really comfortable and has great atmosphere. The bartenders never really warm up to you, but the music makes up for it most nights. If you’re into irish dancing, then Wednesday night is the night to be there but if you’re not then steer clear, they kind of take over the place. They have like three parking lots around them so that’s not a problem. Beer, cider and stout are the norm here, order a fancy drink and you’ll be disapointed, but they pour an awesome black and tan.Pros + music, lots of beers, fun peopleCons – lousy bartenders
