Where are the Best Bartenders in Los Angeles, California?

This place is ok. Not the best I’ve ever been to, but pretty good. 3 stars. I would definitely check it out if you’re in the area, but there’s some other cool places to go as well.

I usually like to come here on Friday and Saturday nights. It can be a h1t or miss (music wise), but most of the time it’s amazing. This place offers a variety of genres for your dancing and listening pleasure! The crowd is alright at times, but on occasion you’ll get that encounter with the crazy drunk guy or girl of the night. You wait a while of course just to get some service at the bar. The only con I can find is that it’s tinyyyy. ESPECIALLY on busy nights it’s not always the most comfy spot. So ladies think twice about those open toe shoes since you’re most likely to get stepped on and get a cute lil bruise on your foot the next day. Least that’s what happened to my friend, haha!Pros + MusicCons – Small place

I really like Fat Fish, especially considering there is sometimes parking around so I don’t have to give my car away to valet. The valet usually sets up on the side street right before the restaurant. The drinks are great and the crowd is young and trendy with your typical boho yuppie tinge. Great place for drinks with a group. I find the food is h*t or miss but have never been truly disappointed. I wouldn’t bring a first date here but it is a fine place to go with someone you are already involved with.Dip into the place next door for some blackberry cobbler dessert. The crowd there is old and the staff keeps their noses permanently upturned but the cobbler is worth ignoring them for.Pros + Great Place for Group Drinking and Tasty TreatsCons – It’s on Robertson and all that truly entails

If you look on the Buc’s myspace you will find a list of what you should or should not do toward the bartender, such as don’t call the bartender by name if you are a stranger, unless you want to be punished by being made to wait longer. It really says that check it out. Perfect example of the attitude of the Buc. “We don’t want you here, just your money.”It’s a good thing I don’t care what bartenders want or don’t want. Get me my drink son. Stop being such a Drink-Nazi. Now having said that, a pitcher of Pabst at reasonable prices is well appreciated. And it”s got the Dive-bar thing down, i love that. So I guess my final verdict is: If you are not to far, go. And if the bartender give you attitude or makes you wait as punishment, go to Lucky Baldwin’s across the street.Pros + CheapCons – Location

Heavenly Mac n Cheese. Crispy baked cheese on top with warm gooey goodness on the bottom!Enjoyed the versatile seating areas from a casual loung area to a formal dining area. Staff is very friendly but the fountain soda’s were a little odd when I had dinner there.Pros + Heavenly Mac and CheeseCons – None
