Although our Entertainment Book coupon wasn’t honored, Sol Irlandes posted that on the door and marquee. Attentive staff, including the valet. Manager checked on us twice and the wait staff worked as a team to take care of ours and the neighboring tables’ needs. Great food and drink at fair prices. We shared the Fish Taco Wrap and Acapulco Enchiladas. Best location on Main Street, too.Pros + Great Waitstaff, management, , drinks, and atmosphereCons – The chips didn’t do justice to the fantastic salsa

I’ve never seen a bar with such an identity crisis. What is it, please someone tell me! Is it a metro/gay sportsbar/nightclub/restaurant? As usual in our fickle city everyone goes to the new place to be seen, and in most cases, such as this one, we only arrive to be let down. Few bars in this city have really wowed me, and this one is definitely not one of them. I don’t want to completely down grade them, its just not the upscale late night lounge or club that the ownership/management thinks or wants it to be. I read they were supposed to have the hottest staff in town and was totally let down in that department. The napoleonic muscle head with an attitude behind the bar didn’t exactly strike me as one for that category. I will say there were some good looking cocktails that were nice, but thats everywhere in this city. The cocktails in this city are easily comparable to Vegas or L.A., which goes without saying. I am rather confused as to the voting on citysearch, though. Its not a bad

Brought good friends from out of town to Go Fish. This place was recommend and was my first time dining here. Arrived at scheduled reservation and seated prompty. The atmosphere was soothing and pleasing until our waitress came. We made corrections on our drink order (non-alcoholic) and was rudely recieved. Down hill from there! After the correction, the waitress still forgot the hot tea, we waited for 10 minutes and had to reask for the tea. She returned rudely to put down the hot tea, left our table and a different waiter came for the food order. The food tasted great. That saved the evening howerver I will not return to a place that I am not welcomed. The orginal rude waitress only came back to take our paycheck! I value my own personal guests when they are in town but this restaurant did not value me as a guest!

Very friendly and chatty. When I left I felt sastisfied from my lunch , service and the company. It’s a great place,I haven’t been there for the bands, but I can say you should really try their food!Pros + Great value, great pastrami, nice crowdCons – parking… you CAN go to the davis bldg for a dollar across the street ( not bad eh?)

I really have no idea what’s going on, I feel like I am in the twilight zone! Well maybe not that dramatic, but what Obar are all these people talking about??? Bc I am having trouble believing it’s that tiny little underground place on Main I know as Obar! I’m not defending the bar, I find the place a bit too hard to walk through/ get a drink anyway, but was so curious I had to ask! I live downtown and have been to Obar roughly 50 times over the past 3 years since moving to Dallas and I couldn’t be more confused! Waiting in hours-long lines? Lists? Slipping money to bouncers? Did I accidentally link to the Ghostbar reviews somehow? And I don’t even know what is going on with all of the racism stuff… I’ve never noticed anything other than a well mixed crowd. Who are the non-whites not getting in? Asian? Black? Hispanic? Again, I’m just curious at this point… bc the Obar all these people are talking about just…. doesn’t exist? By the way, heard rumors Obar shut down
