Where are the Best Bartenders in Charlotte, North Carolina?
Good food, yet deceitful business practices. I received a coupon for a buy 1 get 1 free meal at City Tavern in the mail and it was not honored on the day I visited. The coupon did not have any date restrictions and I was only notified that they were not accepting coupons that day after I received the bill. Even after notifying managment of the issue, they still refused to accept the coupon. I believe this is called ‘bait and switch’.Pros + Food, ValueCons – Customer Service
Being from the north, chicken wings are something that I have grown up eating. Moving down here to Charlotte, it was quite some time before I stumbled into this place and found a good chicken wing. They have more than the usual hot or mild flavors and most of the flavors are pretty good. Good sized wings, not fatty, and cooked to your liking. On Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 5-830 or so, they have 1/2 off wings, where you get a dozen for 4 bucks…cant get any better than that. Great place, service is kind of slow sometimes, but all worth it. On any sporting night, suggest getting there early to get a table. What can I say about Grand Central other than the special make you feel special, they never have a “slow night”, and it is never all guys. Its rare these days to find a bar like that. Its not a place to go sit down and grab a beer or watch the big game. Its a place that people go who don’t dance, are drunk enough to try!
