Where are the Best Bartenders in Atlanta, Georgia?
I’ve eaten here a few times for lunch. I always get there soup and salad specials. Soups and salad specials change weekly (I think) and they are usually pretty good. Also the waitresses are pretty good looking. The only downside is that it is a little expensive. A soup and a salad usually cost me about $22-$25 after tip.Pros + pretty quick service for lunchCons – a little pricey
It bums me out to see the comparison of 5 star and 1 star reviews for H&F. And honestly, all the complaints are because of service or set up. I’ll certainly admit, it’s pretty much like a circus in there at times, but to me, it’s been part of the charm. To those annoyed with this situation, here’s an idea: go for brunch. Hit H&F for brunch a few weeks ago, arrived at 11:30am, right when they opened, and while there were already 10 or so folks waiting outside. Once the doors to opened, my partner and I strolled in and practically had the bar to ourselves. There wasn’t an issue of “not getting a burger” and it was the exact same drippy, wonderful mess they serve when half of Atlanta is asleep during the weeknights. The place was, of course jammed by the time we left, but this brunch thing might be the ticket. Arrive early, bring the Sunday Times and a cup of coffee and wait it out for a half-hour or so. I think it’s worth it. Pros + The burger, NOT at 10pmCons – People line up
Tattletale was a smaller club than a lot of the ones I’ve been to, but it scored well on the qualities I like….a great staff, cheap pitchers of beer, a couple of really hot girls, and an easy-going atmosphere. The bartender was GREAT! I can’t remember her name, but she was a blast. Extremely attentive and friendly. Pitchers of Newcastle were $10.50….a great bargain for Atlanta. There were only two or three quality dancers, a really gorgeous Asian chick who goes by Soleil (like Cirque du Soleil in Vegas) a blonde with an outrageous body, and a fiery, pierced brunette who knows how to work it. After them the talent dropped off considerably, but this was 5-8 on a Saturday, so we may not have been there during prime time. If you want to see a lot of blazing hot perfect women, and hand over your money with no interaction, go to Cheetah. If you want to have a good friggin’ time, I highly recommend Tattletale. When you walk in I felt like I was in the movie “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.” That is what I loved about it. I didn’t touch their food, and probably never would, but I did love the drinks. And the menus for the drinks were hilarious. I loved the decor. It is obviously over-done. The Tiki decor is awful, but that is what is so awesome about it. The cups they serve your rum in are hilarious, and at the same time awesome. I hear the bartender was voted best in Atlanta. I don’t know if that is true or not, but I loved their drinks. Strong, and tasty is what I would say to anyone who wanted to try the drinks. The restaurant is relaxing, and someone please tell me where you can find a strong rum drink served in a skull in which they set on fire prior to serving you? Please go here for the drinks. I don’t know about the food because I did not try it, but I really loved this bar. They weren’t trying to incorporate all the night life garbage that can be associated with bars, and/or clubs, w
