Back issues of journals are located on the Serials section shelves of the relevant subject floor (Level 1, 2, 4 or 5), or alternatively, some may be in the Store. They are arranged in number order on the shelves, each number representing a particular subject area. Note that shelf numbers for the journals are simply a number, unlike those for books which usually have a ‘D’ in front and letters after the number. • Serials section – If the Library’s SUPrimo search record for a journal title indicates that the year(s) you are looking for are in the ‘Serials’ section, take a note of the shelf number and go to the appropriate floor for that number. You can check which floor includes your shelf number by clicking on the hyperlinked word ‘Location’ on the journal record to look up the table of Locations in the Library, or by referring to the guide boards in the Library stairwell.
