Where are TC records kept on aircraft, incidents, enforcement information and maintenance difficulties?

Transport Canada does keep records in each of these areas. However, public access to those records is generally restricted to those who are directly involved with the inquiry in question. If you are interested in viewing TC documents and are not personally involved in the incident in question, you must make a request through the Access to Information Act. Applications for information under the Access to Information Act can be obtained at your local Canada Employment Centre or at a Transport Canada regional library. There is a $5 charge.
