The Square 37 development area is between 23rd and 24th Street NW, north of L Street and south of the Alley. Square 50 is the northeast corner of 23rd and M Streets NW. • Who pays for the new library and fire station? The new fire station and library will be paid for with the value of the city owned land and development rights that are created by the project. The Developer will pay the city for these development rights in the form of building a new library and fire station.
