Where are some really awesome places to stay in Scotland?
There is no correct answer to this one. There are too many beautiful places which you can visit in Scotland. I’m from Edinburgh for example & there are several times during the year when it is best to visit here. For example, visit on April 30th & you’ll experience the magic & mysticism of the Beltane Fire Festival (based on old Celtic beliefs) on Calton Hill in the City Centre. Visit in August & the world renowned Arts Festival is on. If you visit around Christmas you have the Winter Festival & the Hogmanay celebrations. Perthshire & the Trossachs (often known as the Highlands in miniature) are both beautiful parts of the country to visit too. I would recommend Inverness too. Maybe you’ll have better luck seeing Nessie than I did when I was there (LOL). Casltes all over the place, but the most famous are of course Edinburgh & Stirling.
