Where are Kenickie now?
Sadly, Kenickie disbanded on Thursday 15th October 1998 – 2 months after releasing their second album, ‘Get In’. Marie Du Santiago and Emmy-Kate Montrose now front their own band called Rosita. Lauren Laverne has spent time as a TV presenter for UK PLAY, a digital/cable TV station. Programmes she has presented include The Alphabet Show and Dream Performances. Musically, Lauren provides the vocals to “Don’t Falter”, a Mint Royale track which will hopefully do well when it is released on January 24th 2000.
