Where are inkjet printers used?
Generally, low-volume printing operations. Primarily at home or very small businesses. Inkjets are slow, the ink will blur if the page gets wet, and the paper takes a few seconds to dry if there’s a solid image on it. The cartridges are expensive, refilling them is messy and they often leak. Any kind business larger than ‘very small’ will have a laser toner based printing system. Medium size production printing facilities will use toner-based presses. Very high volume printing facilities will use plate systems with liquid inks (not inkjets). So basically, they’re used at home.
