Where are Hawaiis aquaculture farms located?
There are commercial farms located on Oahu, Kauai, Maui, Molokai and the Island of Hawaii. Many farms are located on the windward coasts of these islands where fresh water is readily available from streams and ground water. The sunny leeward coasts are favored by growers producing seaweed and other saltwater species.
